Sodaylo Creature Design

Design for an aquatic species known as the Sodaylo, for the shelved project Gateway. A peace loving, advanced species who prefer to exist in an aquatic environment, To allow for the movement of the creature in wet and dry environments i adated the musculature of a cuttlefish, in water the muscles of the limbs could be relaxed to flow like a cuttle fish for propulsion, on dry land the musculature tightens to form rigid limbs to allow ambulature. Elements of bio luminesance were also included to display mood state.
